Hello everyone, I am Mayra Rodriguez.
Our journey started in October of 2018, after working 14 years in the medical field, it was time for a change. This came about as my husband and I realized we wanted more time with our four children; more family time. We wanted to be able to be around as they grew up, and the time and flexibility to be present for them. That along with the love I have for children, helping them learn and grow is where Little Learners Daycare came about. We decided that it was time to open up our home to help provide a loving, caring and welcoming environment for other children whose parents wanted to feel comfortable and safe with the care their child(ren) are receiving. We strive on providing a warm and welcoming place where the kids can feel they are in their second home. I love being able to interact, care for, teach and play with kids every day. Helping them achieve milestones, from walking, potty training, loosing teeth and all the other celebrations in-between! Starting Little Learners alongside my husband has been wonderful and we can assure you that your Child(ren) are loved, listened to, and well taken care of in our home. They all take special places in our hearts even as they promote out or go on to new adventures, this is not just a job, more of an extension of the fun, loving and caring mom I am!
Hello everyone, my name is Wilfredo Rodriguez, and I usually go by Wil.
I'm here along with my wife, Mayra Rodriguez, as a helping hand and partner in providing the best possible care for the children enrolled in our Daycare. We do have four children of our own and we just loved raising them that when she said that she wanted to start a Daycare, I couldn't have thought of a better person than me to be her partner. We are passionate for what we do, and we treat every child as if they were our own. I come from a large family so I understand and know what it takes to be patient and attentive when it comes to the need of a child.
I'm also a Veteran, I served in the United States Navy for four years and it wasn't something I wanted to pursuit long term, so once I completed my enlistment, I was discharged. I was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in New York.
